Compact, powerful and economical, they are also environmentally compatible and combine all the advantages of low cost large-scale series production. They also offer everything modern engines should have: high pressure injection, turbo charging, inter cooling and a waste gate for optimised performance at low speeds.

MAN diesel engines set standards in terms of environmental compatibility too, an area that is becoming increasingly important. Their exhaust gas and noise emissions are extremely low, and they thus hold a firm promise of security for the future.

MAN supplies its high speed marine diesel engines ready for installation with all accessories. 6-cylinder inline and 8, 10 and 12 cylinder V-models, for main or auxiliary propulsion systems and for on board generators, are available. They are always designed for optimum performance in the various conditions of operation and deployment and if required, with test certificates from the major classification societies.
