MAN high speed marine diesel engines
As powerful and reliable engines for both pilot and patrol boats, passenger and industrial ships and high-speed luxury yachts, the high-speed MAN diesel engines prove just how good they are.

As powerful and reliable engines for both pilot and patrol boats, passenger and industrial ships and high-speed luxury yachts, the high-speed MAN diesel engines prove just how good they are.

They are compact, powerful and economical, but most importantly they are environmentally friendly and comply with the new exhaust-gas directives from the IMO.

The types of engines are:

  • 6-cylinder "in-line" (190kW/258hp - 537kW/730hp)

  • 8, 10 or 12-cylinder "V" (365kW/496hp - 1103kW/1500hp)


Marine diesel engines made by MAN, which offer all the benefits of cost-effective large-scale series production, are manufactured ready-to-install and optimally fitted for any type of usage and operating condition. Upon request, they can also be delivered with the release certificate of renowned classification companies.

Definition of medium-duty operation:
  • Operating hours per year of up to 3,000

  • Average load up 70%

  • Special operating conditions that require no wide-open throttle

  • Escort boats

  • Passenger boats
