Turbochargers
MAN B&W Diesel has expertise in turbochargers dating back to 1934, when its first turbocharger for a diesel engine was developed. Today the company designs and manufactures modern high efficiency exhaust gas turbochargers with either radial ( 2100 kW) turbines.

The output spectrum of the turbochargers both for two and four-stroke engines ranges from 390 kW to 35 400 kW per turbocharger. MAN B&W is also the unique supplier worldwide of Power turbines as the basis of Turbo Compound Systems for large bore diesel engines.
