MAN Rollo Emergency and Auxiliary Generating sets are equipped with MAN high speed diesel engines. Depending on the required output the engines are turbocharged and intercooled, which complies to the latest rules of regulations about exhaust gas emissions.
The Emergency Generating sets can be equipped with different sources of energy for starting the set, even under the conditions of dead ship. The Auxiliary Generating sets are designed for continuous operation such as main power supply of ships, equipped with an electric or air starting system. All sets are equipped with a complete instrument panel, alarm sensors, shutdown equipment and equipment for parallel operation. And the sets are designed for an easy installation on board.
