Cummins Power Generation

Cummins Power Generation is a part of a worldwide power systems business and has its base in the UK at Manston in Kent. One of their strengths is that all the major components used in the building of their generator sets are manufactured by themselves through different divisions of the company.

They also have their own research and development facility, which they invest in heavily to keep up with the latest technology.

The Cummins range of generator sets starts at 25kva with a Cummins B3.3G1 Engine and a Newage Alternator and covers a large range of sizes up to the QSK60G6 at 2250kva. All engines used in these products are Cummins manufacture and all alternators are Newage manufacture.


SDMO

SDMO are a French company operating out of a UK office in Surrey with their main production facility in Brest, France. They manufacture generator sets using engines by several manufacturers including, Mitsubishi, John Deere, Volvo, Cummins and MTU. The alternators used are mainly Leroy Somer, which are also of French manufacture. SDMO carry a large stock of generator sets so delivery times can be almost immediate on standard build sets.

The SDMO range starts with a 11kva Mitsubishi Engine and also covers a large range of sizes up to a 2250kva set powered by a MTU 16V4000G60E Engine.
